Starting at 8pm tonight, 8 candidates come to Central Florida to square off for Florida’s GOP nomination.

Hosted by CNN, this will be the first-ever Tea Party debate at the Florida State fairgrounds. Tea Party will now have a oppurtunity to ask the candidates questions based on their agenda.

Watch the debate live on CNN tonight: http://live.cnn.com/

These debates are important, because Florida is a state that has decided presidencies in recent elections. So much so, Florida’s voting procedures are probably the most criticized in the country. Anyone remember watching a moving truck on the interstate as a highlight of the news?

Tonight’s debate, again I’m sure will revolve around Perry and Romney. Michelle Bachman, which started out as the rising star early on in the elections will be looking to take a more aggressive stance after being brushed off in last week’s debate.

Ron Paul of course, will be the strongest candidate, and I’m hoping that since this is run by the Tea party, that he’ll get more respect and focus. Although, with CNN involved, I’m not going to hold my breath.

The next debate is in Orlando on September 22nd, it will be hosted by Fox News and Google.

Before the debate gets started tonight, get the latest on the Paul campaign against Romney and Perry. This could perhaps could be the first barb inviting another heavy-handed chat tonight.
